Today's word is:

Chagrin (noun)strong feelings of embarrassment


The friend I share season tix with made claim on our 2 seats this past Sunday, so I watched the game from home. I think I ended up scaring my wife a little with all the yelling at the TV. That was a hard game to watch, but I managed to suffer my way through it with a mixture of anger, frustration and chagrin.

This D really scares me. I couldn't say how many times I saw contact in the backfield, only to have the play net big positive yardage. My biggest desire for the bye week is that this D learns hope to wrap up thier tackles.

Anyway...

I hope to see you at the Downtown Chili Showdown at the Rathskeller on Sunday!

Favorite Places to Hangout
 
For my money, there is no place better.
Especially the Bier Garten, on a warm, clear, summer Friday night.
BUT...
 

I'm practically counting down the minutes until I get to hang out...

What I do...
I started off the year working for Paragon Realty Companies
 

 
but the economy changed that.
 
I then accepted an offer to work for Schott Design
 
 
but they didn't really have enough work to
keep me busy and justify my employment, so...
6 weeks later I'm out looking for a new job again.
 
When I'm not busy with work (or should that be looking for work),
spending QT with my beautiful wife, playing golf or tennis,
hanging out with my friends, working on my many "projects",
or following my beloved COLTS,

I like to try to give back to my community...
Below is an event I've hosted for the last 5 years,
with a LOT of help from my friends...,

 
 
it's scheduled for September 28th (Colt's bye week) this year,
at the Rathskeller Kellersaal (401 East Michigan Street, Indy)

Favorite Vacation Spots
I just like the adventure of traveling and seeing new places.
but there is one place I visit every summer, a couple times if possible...
Our family house on the ocean, in Lavalette, NJ
 
I'll be heading back for a long weekend with some close friends in
mid October!  As always, I am really looking forward to it!

Just checking in to see how the Chili cook off went. Unfortunately, my wife was out of town and we were unable to attend. I am sure I missed a really great time. The boyz kept me quite busy @ home.

Ready for some MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL? Should be a tough AFC North battle for the divisional lead (or tie) and Ravens trying to stay undefeated. Not sure I care which team wins tonight but I'm predicting the Steelers. GO COLTS

Thanks. I tried to call the number he gave me, but got no answer. I looked their phone number up online and it was a different one. It looks like he gave me a cell phone number. Not familiar with phone prefixes there. But, I am not going to jump too soon. There are issues with the situation as he explained. But, I will keep his company in mind.
