I grew up in a very small town called Carthage. This is small town living folks! The total population is less than 1,000. There is no stop light. We do have a gas station and a lot of churches. Carthage was an actual stop on the underground railroad. A few of my classmates, in elementary school, lived in houses that were a part of this historic stop. Other than that, there's not much there. Everyone knows everyone, literally. I kind of miss small town life, but there are no jobs and no money to be made there. My entire immediate family lives in Indiana, with the exception of my uncle, who's moving back, my cousin, who lives in FL, and me.
I have been married for 10 years. We have five children. I stay at home and homeschool them during the day. I love it! I know it's not for some people, but my family is my entire life! I love singing and dancing. I was a choir junkie in high school. Those were the days and the musicals are the only thing I miss from that time in my life. Although high school crushes were kind of cool . . . until you saw them with some other girl, lol! Being married, that's never happened to me, knock on wood, lol! I have a lot of good friends from back home, and I always know where to find them.
After high school, I moved away. All the way to the wonderful state of Wyoming! Gosh, I love and miss that place! That is where I met my husband, learned about jackalopes, and real outdoor camping. I can never remember a more fun time than the trip out there and being there with my hubby. I hope to go back there one day and visit the places that meant so much to us back then.
I never would have imagined my life being as full as it is now. I'm so grateful the Lord has blessed me with so much. He knew exactly who and what would make me happy, and He led me straight to it.
To add to all of the excitement, lol, above, we found out we are having baby #6.

I love spending time with my five children and my husband. We play outside, listen to music, dance, watch movies, and just laugh alot. The best days of my life are right now! Then, of course, in the fall we watch football!!!
