I've had a problem with funk lately. No umph in my step. A few people have suggested working out. It has mega benifits...gets the mood up, and the body healthier. Sunday I push mowed the home yard...we have about an acre. It takes me 3 hours to push it all. Yesterday I pushed the yard at dh's office in Bburg. Then when I got home I was thinking about all the suggestions, so I jumped on the bike and did a few miles. When my son got home from school, and got his homework done, we took a nice walk. Today, this morning, was a gold medal ceremony for my sons school. It's part of a reading program they do. Anyway, I got a medal too. DH took our picture together, and as most girls know we don't like our picture. When I looked at that picture I about cried. Started to feel down on myself yet again. After we got home I decided that only I HAVE THE POWER to change that. So I got my behind back on that bike and did a few more miles. I WILL get on this bike, go walking, pop in an exercise video..every day this week. I WILL change my opinion of me. It's all part of something that goes waaaaay back. I've never had very good self esteem, even on a good day. Anyway, those that gave me the advice to do some exercise to help with the funk, it's helping...and can only get better the more I do. Next up for me today is to take a nice long shower, get myself freshened up..then get some work done around here. I am picking my son up from school today so he can go with me to vote, and see what it's like. Have a great rest of your week!!!

From this moment on I WILL...
...eat better things, exercise more, drink more water, do whatever I need to to lose weight and become a better/healthier me.
I've tried to get myself motivated on the COLTS FIT FANS group, but for whatever the reason I can't get much discussion going there. I think that the groups part of MyCOLTS.net get forgotten sometimes. So here I am with a new blog. I thought maybe if I could post here a few times a week. Post how I exercised, was challenged in some way, felt about something...whatever...it would be a little easier to get and stay motivated. We watch the shows Celebrity Fit Club and The Biggest Loser. Last night was The Biggest Loser. I find that show soooooo way inspiring. Those ordinary people have lost hundreds of pounds, changed their lives, and done it all infront of the world. If they can do it...I can do it too. I WILL BE A HEALTHIER and better me.
My goal right now is going to be to lose 10 pounds before race day the end of May.
