Well Candy and Lovey's big Vegas adventure began yesterday.  What fun we had.  We gambled some, neither one of us are millionaires yet  :(   we went to the buffet at the Wynn, ate at least a weeks worth of calories, I strongly suggest the mashed potatoes and the grilled corn on the cob, excellent cuisine.  The deserts, are to  die for,  Lets just say we weren't counting WW points.

Today Dale (VegasColtsfan) will be picking us up and taking us to Timbers the official Colts bar to watch the game, and see the Texans go down.

I have all my blue ragalia and baubles to proudly represent the Blue Nation.

After the game, the hot tub has been calling my name so I think I will visit it and then probably back to the casino to play all the number and slot request I have recieved.  Hopefully something will hit.   I also plan to ride at least oneof the roaller coasters here, you may not know but I am a real roaller coaster fan.

Now remember  what happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas so I may have left out some of the more juicier details, I guess you all will never know  LOL

Well I hope you all have an excellent gameday and I predict the Colts with a big win today to start a winning streak.  GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!

Glad you had a good time. I cook my sweet corn in the summer and freeze it for winter. Do you have any fingernails left after today's game?

Preview of Colts vs Texans
10/1/2008 9:19 PM
Categories: none selected
Well It's Hump Day and since Iwill be travlelling to Avegas this weekend I wanted to give oyu my thoughts about this week's game.

I think the Colts will win.  They have had time to heal and should be better.  That said, this willnot be a cake walk.  Emotions will be high, this is the home opener for the Texans.  It is the first game in the Hurricane Ike damaged Reliant Stadium.  The roof will be open and the place will be rocking.  Houston always plays us hard.  Look how they played the Jags.

I do believe however that this is the most important game of the season for our Colts.  If we go 1-3 that is a very deep hole and we would be in last place in our division.  Not a place we have ever been in before since the AFC South was formed, and not a place we want to be.
I truly believe that the make up of our team is so strong that they will rise to the occasion and tackle harder and have the fundamentals they need to be syuccesful.  I believe Peyton will be accurate and complete 3 TD Passes.  I believe the running game will gain over 100 yards.

So don't throw in the towel, be Loud and Proud and let's stay behind our men in Blue.

GO COLTS!!!!!!

Without Colts Football----BORING!!
9/28/2008 1:59 PM
Categories: none selected
It's Sunday afternoon, about 2 PM.  No Colts football this week so I am sitting here, I haven't been outside, shoot I haven't even gotten dressed yet  (TMI?)

What's a girl to do when there is No Peyton or Dallas or Bob Or Reggie to watch?  I am watching many games on My Sunday Ticket, but it is just plain BORING!!

Please Please get back to me with what I should do the rest of the day, I may go crazy otherwise and who knows what will happen when a crazy Colts fan like me goes crazy?

It could get ugly, so in the spirit of public service leave your suggestions, I can't stay in my PJs and watch other teams all day can I?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and PLEASE Bring on next week and the Texans VS the Colts soon.

Watching the Dome Deflate
9/24/2008 10:10 PM

Hey Everyone I went to watch the dome deflate today.  It wasa perfect day.  A beautful blue sky as a backdrop.  I got some great pictures, I hope you will check ot my album.

It was strange, it seemd to take forever.  I got there just before 10:30 and waited for what seemed likeforfever with a bunch of others, waiting for a sign that the air was actually coming out.

Finally shortly after 11  we cols see some ripples andwrinkles in the southend.  It seemed as though they did it in sections.  beforetoo long we coul see thenorth end start to show wrinkles as well.

There were smallplanes and news helicopters flyiing overhead.  I bet they had a great view.

It was sort of sad to see that majestic old place be deflated.  I am glad I took the time to watch.  The memory of that dome and the great times like the AFC Championship game will be with me forvever.

My Man Bob OUT!!!What Next?
9/17/2008 1:04 PM
Categories: none selected
As I am sure you have all heard , Bob Sanders is expected to miss about 6 weeks with a high ankle sprain.  He will also have his knee scoped during his down time.  I don't know about you, but I am left asking, What Next?

This was supposed to be a great season, the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium and other Super Bowl season.  I am not saying that it won't be a Super Bowl season, I still believe, but  am I the only one asking, What Next?  First it's Peyton missing all of pre-season, then it's Saturday out and Dallas goes down, let's not even talk about the O-line problems and the Ed Johnson "incident".

We haven't even played week three yet an it seem as though the  "oh no's" are piling up.

As I said  I still believe in Blue and I think this team has the maturity and fortitude and TALENT to overcome, but for heaven's sake, enough is enough.

Does anyone have some sort of ritual or potion that perhaps will drive out whatever demons have posessed our team?  I am willing to do a rain dance or whatever to help our guys get healthy and prevent anymore bad things form happening.  Please leave your suggestions below.

In the meantime though, keep the faith and believe in Blue.  GO COLTS!!!!!
