The new season of Survivor will premier on February 7th. Survivor 16 will be a combo of fan favorites, and fans, together as one. There are a total of 20 contestants for Survivor16, and it takes place in Micronesia this time. The 10 returning survivors are as follows....

from Survivor Panama:

Cirie Fields

from Survivor Cook Islands:

Jonathan Penner

Ozzy Lusth

Parvati Shallow

from Survivor China:

James Clemen (the Grave Digger)

Amanda Kimmel

from Survivor Fiji:

YauMan Chan

from Survivor Vanuatu:

Eliza Orlins

Ami Cusack

and last but not least...

from Survivor Pearl Island:

Jon Dalton (Jonny Fairplay)

The other ten contestants are fans who have sent in an aplication/video, and been chosen for the show.

Survivor Micronesia will feature a new twist on the tribal competition: Fans vs. Favorites. In this 16th season, former Survivor standouts will take on a tribe of newbies who idolize the players they will now compete against.

It should be another great season of Survivor. My first thoughts are YEA JAMES (the Grave Digger) and go YauMan! Those are my fav two from the returning people. My least favorite would have to be Jonny Fairplay without a doubt.

There's no way Johnny Fairplay can win. He'll be voted out first, no doubt. I'm betting a fan will win as opposed to a favorite. I'm just trying to take my mind off of today's loss. Sorry.

I haven't decided if I want to watch it. Which fans were most of these people favorites of anyways? Besides James and Amanda, I didn't see any that really stuck out much. Who cares about Jonny Fairplay anymore. I remember most of them, but I wouldn't have seen them as favorites. I'm already bored with Survivor: Micronesia, and it hasn't even started yet.

Johnny Fairplay aside, this sounds like it is going to be an exciting season! Right now I think I will be pulling for Ozzy and YauMan, and maybe Parvati.

YAU-MAN deserves the prize before the game even starts! For some crazy reason i liked jonathan too :) Fairplay is a messed up man - potential to be a good guy just has emotional problems. james is good eye candy to have in the meantime til the game gets good :)

I was an Ozzy and James fan! Johnny Fairplay has had his 15 munutes of fame, he needs to go bye-bye.

This sounds cool, I have only watched the show for 2 or 3 seasons. Id have to say id be pulling for Amanda, James, Parvati and Ozzy!! Im more of a Big Bro fan tho.

Yes I will be watching. i am rooting for Yauman. He gave up alot. James is a close second with me.

Yes I will!!!!!! Did I ever mention I tried out a few years back. they had call-out at Harrahs. No I didn't make it, but would have loved to.
