WOW!!That doesn't even begin to say what I felt entering Lucas OIl Stadium yesterday for the 4 PM Tour. I went through the North Gate with Gordon38, SeekinDestroy, Clove700 and her friend Tom. Gordon gave me my fIrst kiss inside the stadium!!That was spinetingling, what was to follow over the next two hours was unforgettable.
The enormity of the venue was overwhelming. Everywhere there where horsehoes and Colts Blue things. The band was playing wonderful tunes, and people, everywhere people decked out in Jerseys, championship t-shirts and Colts Blue.
I ran in to Coltstrooper on the first level, I waited forever to go upstairs in hopes of seeing my banner. Much to my dismay they would not let us over to where our banners hing up on the upper level. But the wait on the escalator was woth it. The view out that huge window....breathtaking.
Later we purchased our T-shirst for the first game at The Luke then went down onto the field. Soft and cushiony, I went over to my section, 129 found my seat, which I will be able to sit in today. It was too late to tour the locker room, but todayI will have 4 hours to see everything I missed yesterday.
For those of you who also were able to tour the stadium, I think you will agree, words cannot describe the feeling of finaly getting in there. For those who could not, I will be posting pictures over the next few days I hoe you will check them out. And thanks Gordon, Bill Carolyn and Tom for the great time at the tour and all the photo ops. If you haven't gone, try and go soon, you will be amazed at the beauty and enormity of this HOUSE THAT CHAMPIONS BUILT!! GO COLTS!!
