colts7
the ron meyer era ended in 1991, and brought some success to a team, that hadnt had any in a long time, he coached the first 5 games, then rick venturi was named head coach, he finished the year, and the colts finished 1-15. on offense brian baldinger took over for ray donaldson, and william shultz  took his place at guard. on defense tony siragusa played nt, and scott redecic took fredd youngs place. dickerson , in his last year with the colts was the leading rusher (536), and brooks (72-888) in rec, john baylor in int (4), and 3 players each had 5 sacks (hand, thompson, bickett), verdin was the returner. there were no colts selected for the pro bowl.                                   in 1992 the colts named ted marchibroda as head coach, for the second time, this time he lasted 4 years. i am going to do the first 2 years in this blog, and finish it up , on the next one. the colts finished 9-7, with 5 straight wins, and an 8-game turnaround from the previous season. on offense we added reggie langhorne at wr, kerry cash at te, and anthony johnson at rb. on def, we added the top 2 picks in the nfl draft, steve emtmann, and quentin coryatt. johnson led in rushing (592), langhorne in rec (65-811), prior in int (6), and banks in sacks (9), verdin was the returner, and him , and stark were named to the pro bowl.                                                                                                                           in 1993 the colts finished 4-12. on offense we added will wohlford at tackle, and kirk lowdermilk at center, and roosevelt potts (2nd round) teamed up with johnson at rb. on defense we went from a 3-4 , to a 4-3, and had 2 new members on the line skip mclendon, and sam clancy, and jason belser at safety. potts led in rushing (711), langhorne in rec (85-1038), ray buchanon (3rd round) in int (4), and hand in sacks (5), verdin was the returner, and no colts were selected to the pro bowl. dean biasucci became the colts all time leading scorer.          the answers for the stokley/curtis survey are: stokley was selected in the 4th round by the ravens in 1999, was born in va, and played college at la-lafayette, curtis was selected in the 1st round (14th overall) in 1965, by the colts, went to college at duke, and was drafted as a fb. the usa tday had a poll, to see who would replace brett favre as the new face of the nfl, and peyton won, hands down, isnt it cool, when  the rest of the world, figures out stuff we already know!! lol   GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I was here too, but Deryl is right. When I first got my tickets, the crowds were pretty lame. The intensity has increased year after year since then. It's amazing how things have changed.

I remember those days. When there were more players on the sidelines then fans in the stands. Just kidding it was not that bad. But it was bad. I sure enjoy the games so much better now. But since every seat is filled the good parking spot have been hard to get... lol...
