i am selecting 2 players again, the first one from your nominations, and the 2nd, because of similar situations. the 2 new members are pat tillman, and rocky bleier. tillman was drafted by the cardinals in 1998, and played 4 seasons with them, his best year was 2000 when he finished with 109 tackles, and was on his way to becoming one of the best safties in the nfl. following the 2001 season , he turned down a 3 year/3.6 million dollar contract to serve in the army after the 911 attacks, he was killed in combat on april 22, 2004, at the age of 27. earlier in his career he turned down a 5 year/9 million dollar contract as a free agent , to be loyal to his current team. a truly special man, and player!! rocky bleier was drafted by the steelers in 1968, and after his rookie season was drafted, and served in vietnam, he was wounded in action, and recieved a bronze star, and a purple heart, he resumed his football career in 1971, after being told be would never play football again, he went on to play for the steelers for 10 more seasons, retiring in 1980. he best season was in 1976, when he finished 9th in rushing with 1,036 yards, and played on 4 super bowl champions.
