COLTS cookies / beaded bracelet

Here is a fun, and pretty simple, way to make your own COLTS bracelet.  You only need a very few things to make several of these babies.  Supplies can be purchased at any craft store, or any store that has a craft department.  You will need some stretchy cord, blue and white pony beads, football beads and a pair of sizzors.  Just alternate stringing blue and white beads using the stretchy cord.  At about the halfway point I added a football bead.  When your bracelet is strung you simply tie a really good knot, and tuck the ends back in to one of the beads.  You can dress this up by adding a charm or two if you can find the right ones.  WA LA it's a COLTS bracelet!
A YUMMY way to have some fun on game day is to make COLTS sugar cookies.  (No real baking skills are needed.)  Just buy a roll of sugar cookie dough, blue sprinkles, and if you like a little tube of blue icing for writting, and some white icing as well in whatever flavor you like.  (I chose vanilla.)  Follow the package directions for the cookies.  As soon as you take them out of the oven, ice them with the white.  This way the icing will melt some.  Then sprinkle with the blue sprinkles, and if you chose write on them with the blue icing.  One good thing with these cookies (besides eating them) is the sprinkles should last you for several batches of cookies.

There are pictures of both the bracelet and cookies in my HomeMade COLTS photo album.  Just visit my profile page and click on the album name to see if you like.

So what do you think?  Will you make one (or both) of these COLTS goodies?

I love the bracelet and am going tomorrow to get my supplies to make some bracelets. Thanks for the idea. You are so creative and I am going to serve Colt cookies for the first game (on TV) as we gather to support our boyz in blue in AR.
