i am taking nominations for our next member of the colts captains, i went back and checked , too see who all has been nominated, didnt realize there was so many, but this is the list of players: jeff herrod, jason belsar, brad scioli, rohn stark, duane bickett, ken dilger, bill brooks, chris hinton, barry krause, albert bentley, clarence verdin, mark herrman, mike prior, kevin call, jon hand, ellis johnson, sam clancy, earl morrall, marshall faulk, cato june, brandon stokely, eric dickerson, marcus pollard, david thortan, pat beach, so i think you have plenty of choices, and if there is anyone not on the list, let me know, out of the those , i am going to go with ken dilger, as my nomination.                                                                                                              the sporting news has been doing some surveys, at each position in the nfl, last week, it was the safties, sanders was rated number 1, and bethea number 4, and as a group, they were rated number 1, in the league!!                                                                                            the answers to my bradshaw/greene survey are: bradshaw was the first overall pick , by the steelers in the 1970 draft, he was born in la, and went to college, at la tech. greene was drafted 4th overall, by the  steelers in 1969, was born in texas, and played for n.texas st.                    hope you are all having a great weekend, and have a great memorial day tomorrow....GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree with everyone else that Stokley should be the next choice.

who is Kerry Cash?

I tend to think a little different then some people. Every name you listed were good players for the COLTS. But for me to pick one over the other I would choose one that was with the COLTS at the end of their playing days or was cut by the COLTS and not one who left for the bigger pay day. For the reason I would take Stokley before Dilger, Brooks or anyone else that left via free agency. But that is just me. I still vote for Kerry Cash just because of the name...

Definately Stokley before Dilger.

OK Ken, I gotta disagree this time. Stokley played for us for 4 years and had 15 TDs and 1 fumble. Dilger was good, but he was with us for 7 yrs. and had 18 Tds and 5 fumbles. Go Stokley!!! Lots of luv!!!

Kenny Dilger is a great choice!! I would definitely vote for him if this were a democracy, not a Ken-ocracy!!! :-)

Great Blog. Dilger is a great choice, but I think I would go with Stockely first, he caught Peyton's record breaking pass!!GO COLTS!!
