Today I was able to secure 3 tickets so that we can all go to see Barack Obama this Saturday.  He is doing a town hall style speech in Plainfield at the high school.  (I wanted to post about it...and be able to share photos..whatever, so I started this new blog.  Here I will share politcal fun...if there is such a thing.  I don't want to get in to any major discussions on candidates, or political beliefs.  This is meant to be fun!)  I don't care who you support for the upcoming election, this is cool!  It is a once in a lifetime chance to see the possible future president, a history making president.  I'm way excited about this.  I'm even more excited for my son to have this chance too.  I'm 43 and he's only 9.  Who knows what the future could hold.
Whomever the new president end up being, I'm ready for the change.

I got the tickets because I am signed up with the Obama campaign website to receive alerts and things. I got an email yesterday about noontime with the details, and a link where you could request tickets. I immediatly replied, and got 3 tickets so all of us can go. My son is very excited about this. Weather you support the candidate or not....it's just an awesome chance to see someone who may be the next president.

My hometown of Richmond, IN was supposed to get one of the national debates, but lost to another city. Have fun at the meeting.

I read about that! I wanted to go, too, but there are only about 2,000 seats or fewer, so I doubt it would be too easy to do. How do you get tickets?
