TAMPA RAIN

I've read chapter one, Tampa Rain.  What a sad way to end a coaching job.  The shock of being fired, then having to load boxes of his stuff, in the rain like that.  It made me want to reach throught the pages of this book and hug that man.  It will be alright...soon.

Now on to Chapter two, Growing up a Dungy.

I'm sorry to those who haven't read the book yet. I didn't intend to try and spoil anything for you. I figured if you didn't read the book yet, you just wouldn't come here. That's why I've tried to keep my emails non descript. Anyway, As quickly as chapter one went yesterday, I may not update after each chapter. It may be more like every other chapter on the shorter ones. I don't have the time to just sit and read like I want to, but will try to read a couple chapters each day. Have a good weekend! GO COLTS!

It was an amazing book. I too read it in a short time. Not 4 hours but about 4 days. Each chapter got closer to our SB win. It was well written and very open and raw filled with not just feelings but bits of Tony's and his family's lives.

I can not stand this team down here! They are aweful! And this current coach may get the boot! I sure hope he does! Coach built the team up, and then gets the bomb on him! But he has a lot of people that follow him! He is so Wonderful! Too bad you weren't able to meet him in person! Him and his wife are human Angels, greatful, with grace. Every positive word there is, Him and his family deserve it! I loved that He & the Colts team in 2004 was able to beat the Bucs Sorry.... But everyone that loves the Colts just have to agree. You do wrong (Bucs) the good will kick you in the butt (colts)! Your going to love this book! And he does so much for everyone!

Yep, Tampa did Tony bad. I felt so bad for him. But, it worked out so well for us. I'm sure this is one game Coach Dungy would love to keep beating. We sure showed them what they gave up on, huh? I have no respect for them.

It is an awesome book, and besides it confirming what a great solid man of God Tony is, it also left me wanting to be more, do more. I was so impressed with the values of his family/his parents.

I will say that it was a GREAT book- one that I would recommend teenage boys (and girls) should read as well. I'm known to be a reader, but I read this book in about 4 hours. LOVED it! Tony's a great guy, and I am so proud to be a Colts fan!
