On the New Lucas Oil Stadium; is it truly a good thing?

Hey Fellow Colts Fans!  I hope everyone is doing well this morning.  I am truly grand!  I'm really excited because I just got tickets to the last game of the season against the Titans.  I'm looking forward to an awesome season ender!  I watched the game Sunday of course and I had a thought as I was watching.  I know everyone thinks that Peyton is a little rusty and maybe he just wasn't in the flow of things yet, but I think he'll be okay.  My question is:  does anyone think the new stadium had an effect on their performance last week?  I know that one of the things that made us so strong at home was our no huddle explosive offense and we tended to use the crowd noise to our advantage.  With the new stadium and the retractable roof that crowd level doesn't reverberate when it is open.  I hope that won't be an issue, but when you are so used to playing with certain circumstances for so long and then it's not their anymore it can be difficult.  I think the new stadium looks awesome and I can't wait to see it finished and up close.  But sometimes I'm a true believer that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!".  Hopefully I'm wrong and it won't be an issue at all, but regardless, even if it is at first they will adjust and make it work, I have no doubt.  Well everyone have a grand week-end and GO BLUE!!!!

Peyton's been working with a center that he's not used to, so he is a bit hesitant when he takes the snap-making sure he doesn't fumble. That little hesitation throws off the timing of the offense, add to that, his lack of practice, and being careful of the knee... nuf said. As for the crowd noise, the fans haven't been as fired up as usual. The Bears stuck it to us early, and took the crowd out of it, and there were way to many Bears fans there. Obviously they weren't helping us with the noise. The stadium is actually better designed to utilise the fan noise than the Dome was. The seating is higher and steeper focusing the noise on the field, and the seats are also closer to the field because of the steepness. The roof is only open above the field, so the noise from the seating is reflected back to the field. At the Dome, the roof was actually designed to absorb noise. The retractable roof also offers another advantage... When it's open, the afternoon sun is in the eyes of the visiting team. All in all, I love the design, and everything about the Luke, and I'm sure you will to. Don't worry, as soon as the fans get fired up, you'll see how loud it will be!!! GO HORSE!!!

The stadium will be great, Peyton just had some jitters and was worryin about his knee. He will continue on from the 2nd half performance he had last week. Glad you got tickets! GO COLTS!

Congrats on your tickets! I don't think Lucas is the reason. The injuried surely doesn't help and think the coaches and Manning are trying to compensate for it and the players just are not use to the differences. Hange in there! 1-1 We are on a winning Streak!
